Call us today on 01394 444602 to discuss how we can help your business with a tailor made service

Workplace Health is delivered by Suffolk Sport.

With the annual cost of sickness absence estimated at over £100 million, employee health and wellbeing is at the centre of debate to help reduce absences and loss of productivity to workplaces. Suffolk Sport has been working with businesses large and small across the county to increase health awareness and promote the benefits that being active can bring to workplaces.

As such, Suffolk Sport has developed a Workplace Health programme with customisable features to provide workplaces with tailor-made services to help employee health and wellbeing.

What does the Workplace Health Programme offer?

There are two different packages available to workplaces; both feature Boditrax Testing and a 20 minute Health and Wellbeing consultation with a qualified personal trainer (minimum 15 people required).

Boditrax is a quick, non invasive way to understand 16 different body composition measures, including Muscle mass, Fat mass, Bone Mass, Visceral Fat, Water Mass, how our metabolism is working and more. This is a much more accurate way to understand your health, and your results will be explained to you by a fitness professional. This will give you the opportunity to discuss your goals and areas for improvement in a confidential 1-1 setting.

Package two also includes a 6 week Exercise and Nutrition Programme. Suffolk Sport will organise a weekly exercise and nutrition programme at your workplace with a fitness professional, at a time convenient for you. This will involve some exercise aimed at all fitness levels, as well as nutrition advice, such as how to make healthy snacks and lunches for work.

Other services such as bootcamps, beginner running programmes, exercise classes, sports days, team building days, mental health training are also available.

What are the benefits of being involved?

Physically active people take fewer days off sick. By taking part in one of our Workplace Health packages businesses can:

  • Improve morale & motivation of staff
  • Increase employee satisfaction
  • Reduce employee turnover
  • Less sickness absence
  • Improve your company profile
  • Increase productivity

Who can get involved?

The Workplace Health programme is open to all businesses, large or small from any industry whether it's in the public or private sector. All we ask for is a minimum of 15 people to take part in one of the programmes.

How much does the Workplace Health Programme cost?
Prices vary according to what package or customisable feature you choose.
