Paul Evans is one of Britain's most respected athletes having competed in two Olympics, two world championships, and holding 13 British distance running titles. His many accolades also include a victory in the Chicago marathon, 2nd place in the New York marathon, 3rd place in the London and breaking the British and European half-marathon record as a veteran in the Great North Run at the age of 40. Join Paul and the Sporting Memories network for a cuppa, a conversation and a fascinating insight into Paul's career.
The Sporting Memories Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to sports reminiscence & physical activities. The charity supports older people living in England and Wales with dementia, depression and loneliness by engaging them in social activities and helping them to recall memories of watching or playing sport.
Sporting Memories sessions in Suffolk are completely free and are welcome to all sports fans over 50yrs. The sessions are held every week at Lowestoft Library as well as at other venues across Suffolk.
