The National Junior League sits at the bottom of the competition pathway, providing recreational players the opportunity to gain additional competition experience. To support players’ development and enable them to move up the competition ladder we would like to offer them the opportunity to gain grading points through the Junior League. The Suffolk Junior League is signed up to the Badminton England National Junior League structure with the combined aim of giving as many young people the opportunity to play organised, competitive badminton on a regular basis.

We hope that through participating in our Junior League your young players will have a fun and valuable experience, whilst continuing to develop their skills. Being part of the Badminton England structure means there will be the exciting opportunity for our Junior League's winning teams at U12, U14 and U16 to go forward and compete in the end of season National Finals weekend to be held 12 and 13 May 2018 at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes. A team for the National Finals will consist of two boys and two girls per match, reserves may be taken and used in other matches as replacements.

To participate in the Suffolk junior league you must have a mixed teams consisting of a minimum of 2 girls and 2 boys.

There will be 5 events consisting of Boys singles, Girls singles, Boys doubles, Girls doubles and Mixed doubles. A player may only play in two events per match.

Best of 3 games to 9.

To qualify participants must be born in 2003 and over.

Teams entered must consist of players who are graded at the start of the season at:

U12: J and below
U14: I and below
U16: H and below

If a competitor does not have a grade, they still qualify to play as an ungraded player.

It will cost £20 per team and you will need to pay by card below.
