Ben Jackson - Sports Development Officer

I joined the Suffolk Sport team in May 2008 as a Sports Development Officer. My primary role is promoting and managing the delivery of the Sportivate programme. Sportivate is aimed at increasing sporting opportunities for teenagers and young adults classed as “semi sporty”. 

Originally from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, I moved to Italy with my family before returning to settle on the Norfolk / Suffolk border. I have always been a keen participator in sport, concentrating on squash where I am an England Squash Level 2 coach. I also played football for many years in the Norfolk leagues and have competed at cricket and tennis for local clubs.
