The Pride of Table Tennis Awards are now open!

The search is on for the unsung heroes of table tennis, as we open the Pride of Table Tennis Awards for the 2016/17 season.

The annual Pride of Table Tennis Awards seek to honour the volunteers, officials, coaches and personalities who are the heartbeat of the sport around the country. They will recognise individuals and organisations who are committed to developing and improving participation and performance in table tennis. That might be through breaking down barriers of inclusivity, promoting diversity or nurturing talented youngsters, or positively impacting on people's lives through table tennis in any other way.

We are launching the local, regional and national stages of the awards which could see hundreds of volunteers honoured across the country.

For the local stage, we are urging members of the table tennis family to award the accolade of Volunteer of the Year in their own clubs and leagues. Last year more than 60 Club Volunteers of the Year awards were handed out across the country. For this year, Table Tennis England has decided to expand this award to encompass not only clubs but leagues too.

We are looking for individuals who have shown dedication and commitment beyond the call of duty, and who have sacrificed time and energy to help support their club. This could be within coaching, administration, media and press support or any other area.

All the Club/League Volunteers of the Year will be put forward into one of the categories for the regional and national stage of the Pride of Table Tennis Awards. However you can also nominate directly into the Regional and National stages of the Pride of Table Tennis awards in any of the categories below.

- Volunteer of the Year

- Young Volunteer of the Year

- Coach of the Year

- Club of the Year

- Technical Official of the Year

- Partner of the Year

- Inclusivity Award

- Inspirational Stories

- Contribution to Table Tennis Award

Help us celebrate volunteers' hard work and dedication by nominating now!
