Job Vacancy - Coaching and Workforce Officer Suffolk Sport

Suffolk Sport, the County Sports Partnership for Suffolk, is seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed individual to become part of the Suffolk Sport team and contribute to the achievement of key business outcomes.

Suffolk Sport is hosted by Suffolk Coastal District Council. Although this post is employed by Suffolk Coastal District Council, you will be required to work across the county.

Coaching and Workforce Officer

£24,646 - £27,849

Do you have a passion for coaching? Do you believe that coaching is one of the key drivers to sporting success? Would you like to play a role in developing a world leading coaching system in England?

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Coaching Strategy and associated plans across Suffolk through joint working with key partners including regional and national agencies, National Governing Bodies of Sport, schools, Further and Higher Education Institutions and local authorities

You must have previous experience of working in a similar environment, developing partnerships, and experience in co-ordinating and implementing projects and associated resources. You will have excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, strong administration and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
