North Suffolk Schools - Yr 7 & 8's Tennis

On 29th May 2012 at East Point Academy, Pakefield High school and East Point Academy competed in a Yr 7/8 tennis competition. With 16 players in attendance, making up 4 teams of4, it gave every team the opportunity to play one another to complete for a place in the next round of this School Games Competition.

In attendance was also Mark Websdale from Southwold Tennis club, providing a key community club link and words of advice for our leaders.

The running of this event was only possible through our great Young Leaders from East Point Academy. These 6 leaders came from the team of 14 who have been developing their leadership skills in preparation for July 6th were they will be running the county final in Bury st Edmonds.

After a few very close matched the tournament finally swung in the direction of Pakefield 1st Team. They will now go forward to represent North Suffolk at the county final on July 11th.
