The Play Tennis Fund is a small grants funding scheme aimed at supporting the tennis network across Britain in establishing effective local projects to grow tennis participation. Projects can apply for a maximum of £5,000 from the Play Tennis Fund and can target any age group of participants from 12 years of age upwards.

How do I apply?

Before applying, we strongly recommend you take a look through our guidance resource and top tips resource available, but also that you get in touch with your local regional team for support with your application. This is to ensure you're eligible to apply to the fund, but also to give you the best possible chance of having your application approved if you are.

Then, download the editable Application Form PDF file available on this page, fill in answers to all of the questions and send it on to playtennisfund@lta.org.uk.

Simon Peck Summer Series 2017: Event 4

Location: Haughley Park, Haughley, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 3JY

Beginners are welcome to "Come & try orienteering" in a rural parkland & woodland setting & will learn to do a "score event" - which means visiting as many checkpoints as you can in the time allowed - 45 minutes. There will also be an additional challenge for those with more experience.

First Aid in Sport (1st October 2017)

Date: Sun, 01 Oct 2017 (09:00 - 16:00)

Location: Hadleigh Pool and Leisure, Stonehouse Road, Hadleigh, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP7 5BH

This course is run by an HSE registered trainer and covers all the requirements for the Appointed Persons qualification and looks at further scenarios more specifically found in the sporting field. This full day course, is for everyone involved in sport. You will learn how to deal with the types of emergencies that can occur in the sporting environment, and how to assess an incident and the latest resuscitation techniques.
