Significant local community projects

This programme allows colleagues to nominate initiatives which will make a real long term difference, benefiting the wider community with our vision to 'Transform Communities, improving lives locally.

Top-up funding Grants

Contact your local store, depot or home office Community Life Champion to see if they could potentially fundraise for your local charity or good cause. If this is something they are able to support they will be able to apply to the Asda Foundation for a top-up donation.

Chosen By You Given By Us

The Asda Foundation supports Asda's Community Life programme Chosen by you…given by us by providing the funding for the local charities and good causes nominated by Asda customers and colleagues.

If you would like to nominate a charity or good cause please either complete the nomination form in your local Asda store which can be found on the Community Life Board or visit your local store locater page

Check on the Asda Foundation website to see if you are eligible for a grant.

Simon Peck Summer Series 2017: Event 4

Date: Sat, 23 Sep 2017 (10:00 - 11:45)

Location: Haughley Park, Haughley, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 3JY

Beginners are welcome to "Come & try orienteering" in a rural parkland & woodland setting & will learn to do a "score event" - which means visiting as many checkpoints as you can in the time allowed - 45 minutes. There will also be an additional challenge for those with more experience.

First Aid in Sport (1st October 2017)

Date: Sun, 01 Oct 2017 (09:00 - 16:00)

Location: Hadleigh Pool and Leisure, Stonehouse Road, Hadleigh, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP7 5BH

This course is run by an HSE registered trainer and covers all the requirements for the Appointed Persons qualification and looks at further scenarios more specifically found in the sporting field. This full day course, is for everyone involved in sport. You will learn how to deal with the types of emergencies that can occur in the sporting environment, and how to assess an incident and the latest resuscitation techniques.
