"A 2012 Sports Volunteering Legacy for Suffolk" Are you up for it?

This is a conference that is focussed on responding to the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games to ensure a local volunteering legacy for the county.

If you would like to contribute to creating a sports volunteering legacy for Suffolk, join us on:

Tuesday 20th March 2012, 5.00 – 8.30pm at the Kesgrave

Community & Conference Centre, Kesgrave, Nr Ipswich, IP5 1JF

Objectives for the event:

• Raising the profile of volunteering in sport
• Identifying the key volunteering issues facing sport in Suffolk
• Establishing structures & actions that can address some of these issues
• Showcasing good volunteering practice in local sport in our county

This evening event will include key note speakers, discussion groups and an opportunity to identify key actions for your organisation.

The event will be useful for volunteers in sport as well as representatives from Sports Clubs and Organisations, Disability Sport Groups, Volunteer Centres, Borough & District Councils,Youth & Community Groups, Education and other key stakeholders.

Food will be provided and this conference is free to delegates!
