The first two grant recipients were presented with their awards at the Foundation launch on national 2012 day 2007. Ellis Jackson a swimmer from Lowestoft and Joseph Bloomfield, an athlete from Ipswich were both awarded £500 to help them achieve their goal of competing for GB at the London 2012 Olympics.

The cheques were presented by Sharon Hunt who is a potential Olympian for Bejing 2008.
