Insulin Pump

An 11 yr old boy from Suffolk who has diabetes has recently been given an insulin pump. He is one of the youngest people in the UK to have such a pump and has been selected largely due to his commitment to badminton.

He is a junior county player and badminton is his passion and his number one release from the problems he encounters with his diabetes. To help control his blood sugar levels it helps if he can play and wear the pump at the same time. However, he is experiencing great difficulty and
discomfort when wearing the pump. If there is anybody who has experienced similar difficulties but has found a way of wearing a pump comfortably and could provide some advice on this matter could you please contact Paul Sharp via paulm.sharp@btopenworld.com

Any assistance would be most welcome.
