COACH MENTORING
Suffolk Sport in partnership with sports coach UK is launching a county-wide cross-sport coach mentoring programme accessible to all coaches within Suffolk.  To find out more, click here
 
EMPLOYING COACHES (PAID AND VOLUNTARY)

Coaches are the life-blood of sport.  It is important that clubs and other organisations are able to recruit enough coaches to operate effectively, but it is also important that these coaches are supported to help them develop and to make them feel valued.  Suffolk Sport, in conjunction with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Active Sports Partnership, has produced 'Employing Coaches - A Good Practice Guide for Paid and Voluntary Coaches'.  This takes organisations through the entire process of recruitment, selection and support, and is full of useful information and examples.  To download a free copy of this Guide, click here

 

COACHING LIBRARY

Suffolk Sport and Suffolk Libraries and Heritage have been working in partnership to establish a Sports Collection in Ipswich County Library.  This collection is full of books, DVDs and other resources linked to sports coaching, and can also be accessed from anywhere in the county.  To find out more click here
